The New Lebanon Book Group meets the first Sunday of each month at 11 a.m. at the New Lebanon Library unless otherwise noted. Please bring a mask - we socially distance. Everyone is welcome - do drop in! Curious readers, visitors, and drop-ins are always welcome! We follow a no fragrance policy for the safety of some of our members. The book to be discussed this month is "The Personal Librarian" by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray. Copies of the book are available by request at local libraries.
Stop in between 11 AM and 12:30 PM to decorate you own Valentine's Day treat! For school aged children and teens. All materials and a take-home box included. Masks must be worn by attendees and social distancing is encouraged between groups.

This virtual presentation explores Black Americans' struggle for equality under the law from 1865 through World War I. Learn about both Southern and Northern roles in this dark chapter of our history as well as Black New Yorkers’ organizing and community-building in the face of discrimination.
This series of Virtual Presentations by the New York Historical Society is brought to you in partnership with the Columbia County Libraries Association. These hour-long lectures are delivered live by a Museum docent or curator, accompanied by slides showing artifacts from our collection and recent exhibitions. A short Q&A period will follow each presentation.

Talk Read Sing Columbia’s Traveling Early Literacy Program is visiting the library again! Children will enjoy a story about inventor Garrett Morgan, and do a traffic light STEAM project.
