With thanks to the generosity of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the Cornell Cooperative Extension/4H program, we have obtained the use of an amazing array of technology to show you how to be a "Citizen Scientist." The program is geared towards elementary-aged children but learners of all ages are welcome to join us. The program will start at the library, but primarily take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for weather in February. One of the main activities will be identifying and counting birds and other animals and learning to use handheld GPS devices.
