CRAFTEENS (& TWEENS!): HYGGE INSPIRED CANDLE HOLDER

What is Hygge (pronounced ho͝oɡə)? Regarded as a defining aspect of Danish culture, it means anything comfy and cozy, that gives one a feeling of contentment. We couldn’t think of a better way to cozy up these cold, winter days than this flame-less candle. Grab your kit starting Wednesday, February 24th (please call to arrange a pick-up time). Written instructions are included with the kit.

LIBRARY OPEN FOR BROWSING & COMPUTER APPOINTMENTS

The Library is open for in-person appointments! Fifteen minute appointments for browsing and 30 minute appointments for computer use are available during regular Library hours. You must call the library at 518-794-8844 to set up an appointment, and wear a mask at all times while in the Library. Curbside Services will continue to be available as well. 

“A Taste for Travel” Discussion Group

The New Lebanon Library was awarded a grant from the American Library Association to start a conversation with you–and our conversation will be focused on: Food from around the world! “A Taste of Travel” will be a six session discussion group geared to allow you to experience a different culture through both food, literature and discussions.This discussion group will have an interactive element where participants will receive different materials to help them get the most from this opportunity including some spices from the locations studied.
