GRAHAM CRACKER GINGERBREAD HOUSES

We’re turning graham crackers into festive (and edible!) holiday gingerbread houses! All materials provided; for ages 5 years to teens. Younger children may need a grown-up to help them with the assembly.Registration is requested, so we can be sure to have enough supplies on hand for everyone. Start your month off right with local favorite Linda Worster! Enjoy Linda’s unique blend of acoustic folk/rock and original tunes from the comfort of home! Login details will be posted on the library website the afternoon of the concert.

STORYTIME

 Wednesdays: Next Meets on Dec. 7th

Storytime will not meet on November 30th.

  • 10:30 AM – Small Wonders: For toddlers up to 35 months of age. Enjoy a briefer  Storytime (20-30 minutes)  for our youngest patrons and their caregivers, featuring songs, movement activities and age-appropriate stories.

  • 11:00 AM – PreSchool Storytime: For ages 3-6 years. This Storytime is a bit longer for older children (30-45 minutes) and includes more stories, movement activities, and songs, followed by a craft activity.

Beginning March 15th, you can borrow titles in Libby from The Upper Hudson Library System. Follow the instructions in the RLA-Libby-Flyer  to them as a partner library in the Libby

Museum Pass Program

Museum Pass offerings have recently been updated. Click here to see what’s new, including the Empire Pass for admission to NY State Parks!

The Columbia County Libraries Association now offer passes for admission to many local museums, historical sites and other places of interest. It’s easier than ever to borrow a pass, with online reservations and many available to print at home! This program is made possible by a grant from the Ellsworth Kelly Foundation to the Columbia County Libraries Association. Please click here to access the online reservation system. Mask Policy Update

Effective March 11th, masks are encouraged while visiting the library. Curbside service is still available by request.

Please note that masks may still be required in special circumstances where safe distancing is not possible (such as one-on-one computer help). We will include a note in any program announcements to which this applies.

Hoopla has arrived at the New Lebanon Libray! Borrow eBooks, audiobooks, movies and more with no wait lists! There’s even an app for that! Hoopla has a little something for everyone!
