 Wednesdays, September 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th

Join Miss Ann for one of our Storytimes on the patio behind the library (we’ll meet indoors if the weather is poor). The ages listed for each group can be flexible, especially for those in the middle of the two age groups. We hope you will join us for whichever Storytime meets your child’s needs and interests.

  • 10:30 AM – Small Wonders: For toddlers up to 35 months of age. Enjoy a briefer  Storytime (20-30 minutes)  for our youngest patrons and their caregivers, featuring songs, movement activities and age-appropriate stories.

  • 11:00 AM – PreSchool Storytime: For ages 3-6 years. This Storytime is a bit longer for older children (30-45 minutes) and includes more stories, movement activities, and songs, followed by a craft activity.

Check It Out: New Seed Library!

Get growing with our Library of Local seed library! Choose from a selection of vegetables, herbs and flowers. We have seed envelopes for you to note the growing instructions, then add the recommended amount of seeds and you’re ready to go! While you’re here, check out the rest of the collection, with books on a variety of sustainability topics.

Now in its second year, The Library of Local is a partnership between Partners for Climate Action Hudson Valley and the Mid-Hudson Library System. It offers library patrons a collection of books, seeds, and other resources that equip local communities to take action on the climate crisis and advance ecological repair.
