The book is designed to match the way people experience nature: seeing plants and animals as they appear together in a specific landscape at a specific point in time.
Janice Goldfrank is a graduate of the University of Rochester. She taught natural history to visiting school children at Yale’s Peabody Museum of Natural History, and was an Environmental Analyst at the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection. She is also a photographer and the author of two other non-fiction books. She lives in Austerlitz.
