New Lebanon Book Group: "The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times" by Jane Goodall and Doug Abrams

May 1, 2022The New Lebanon Book Group meets the first Sunday of each month at 11 a.m. at the New Lebanon Library unless otherwise noted. Please bring a mask - we socially distance. Everyone is welcome - do drop in! Curious readers, visitors, and drop-ins are always welcome! We follow a no fragrance policy for the safety of some of our members.
The book to be discussed is "The Book of Hope : A Survival Guide for Trying Times" by Jane Goodall and Doug Abrams. Copies of the book are available by request at local libraries.

What makes a butterfly an insect? Discover the amazing world of the butterfly, learn the basics of butterfly anatomy, understand the lifecycle of butterflies, and see their fascinating metamorphosis. Students attending will use their artistic skills to create a model of the four stages of metamorphosis.
The miSci Labratory Explorers program series is supported with federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds allocated to the New York State Library by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and administered
by Southeastern New York Library Resources Council. -

May 20, 2022Join educators from Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood to enjoy a dinosaur themed read aloud. After, children can learn facts about dinosaurs as they dig some up in a hands-on project: excavating toy dinosaurs!
