As part of Behold! New Lebanon’s continuing series of community meetings on topics of interest to our neighbors, Behold! will sponsor a meeting on Lyme Disease Prevention and Treatment. The meeting will be hosted by Victoria McGahan, Public Health Educator, Columbia County Department of Health. 

Victoria will be accompanied by a nurse, ready to answer all your questions and to bust some of the myths that you may have heard about Lyme disease and the related diseases Anaplasmosis and Babesiosis. 

Columbia County had the highest rate of Lyme disease infection in the state of NY in 2014, the most recent year for which data is available.
